Second Flower Basket Shawl completed!

Someone stop me! Get another Flower Basket Shawl, again for the local cancer centre. This was knit in OnLine Linie 21 - Marly in Newport Blue. It took 10 skeins of this DK weight yarn on a size 8 32" Addi Turbo circular needle. This yarn is very springy and it loosened up significantly when it was washed. This was started on August 28 and completed on September 4. It was a long weekend of knitting furiously!

Beautiful shawl! How long does it take for you to make a Flower Basket? I have the pattern and yarn. Just have to start knitting it.

Get knitting, girl!

My first Flower Basket took a few weeks; this one took only 8 or 9 days, but it was an intense week of knitting. Just completing the lace edge (border) took about 4 or 5 hours. While you start out with just 2 stitches, you end up with hundreds and that takes forever to knit across!

Good luck with yours!
