Fir Cone Wrap and Basketweave Blanket
The first two FO's that have been donated to the regional cancer center! The first is Wendy Johnson's Fir Cone wrap done in Dalegarn Falk. I used 10 balls and completed the wrap in about a week.
The second is one of my basketweave throws, done in Plymouth Encore Colorspun. I used 4 balls for this throw as I needed to make a shorter throw than I usually make.

I knew you had shawls and wraps that you hadn't had a chance to post. The basketweave one would be a good baby blanket I think. I like the fir cone in a larger yarn, too. Beautiful as always. Thanks for sharing.
I really like the Fir Cone Wrap pattern. It's pretty and lays flat nicely. Good job!
Both of them are so pretty. And the one you finished in ONE week?! That is amazing!
I came here from a Knitter's Review forum from like 2005 or so.
You are amazing. Your work is so beautiful and the fact that you donate all of these many, many beautiful shawls to the cancer center is inspiring. I am still pretty new at this knitting thing, but I know that my obsessive knitting was the only way I kept any sanity when my father passed away a few months ago after a ten year illness.
I love your basketweave and will try one myself soon. And you are so fast!! Thanks for the inspiration.
I Love the Fir Cone Wrap pattern !

Hi Mari - What is your Ravelry name?
Mary
I absolutely love all of your work, you are incredibly talented! I subscribed to your blog to keep updated on your FOs, I can't wait to see the next one!
Would you be willing to sell your basketweave pattern? I would like to make a baby blanket using that pattern. Thanks!
Hi Mari,
Your works is wonderful. Is the Basketweave Blanket pattern available for purchase somewhere? I just love it!
Yes this will be a good design for a blanket also.
How do I get the heritage blanket. I borrowed my mother-in-laws and coffee was spilled on it. She does not know yet. I was never a favorite but I thought that I could surprise her and make her one. I need help. Please let me know palmerjodi13@live.ca thanks and pray that I can still get it, if not I will have to move far away. Jodi Palmer
