Another pair of socks! These little ankle socks are done in Knit Picks' Sock Memories yarn; the colourway is Paper Dolls, which is no longer available. The pattern is from Cherry Tree Hill and is quite simple. I love this yarn and hope that the new version of the yarn on Knit Picks will be as nice. I bought this yarn on clearance for $2.99 each and used 2 balls. Because they are ankle socks, I have enough yarn to make another sock, but what exactly would one do with 3 socks?!?!

Hi, I do admire your knitting. I'm doing simple shawls and was inspired by yours. I've never knitted a sock or used double pointed needles but would like to acquire that skill. Can you recommend a good beginner beginner sock pattern.
