And yes, socks are pretty instant gratification and I have so much sock yarn waiting...if only I could finish this shawl!! Sherilan, I'd rather be using fingering weight yarn than this lace weight as it would go quicker! I agree...go for DK or sport weight! I've used both and they give excellent results! I did the Pemberly in worsted weight, but I think sport weight would be better. It would give a more lacey feel, which would be lovely!
