The patients at the center who receive your handmade shawls are very lucky! I'm sure it brightens their thoughts to have a lovingly made wrap such as yours. I, too, am a Maribel and go by Mari, or Marie and have been knitting (obsessively) for about 1 1/2 years.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14056199.post-1147992903140616402006-05-18T18:55:00.000-04:002006-05-18T18:55:00.000-04:00Oh, thanks, Jazzy!! The Victoria and Pemberely shawls are both lovely and very easy. I think Pemberely would look better in a sport weight yarn, but in the DK-light worsted I used, it was still nice.Marihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03504599915321359772noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14056199.post-1147111162476738882006-05-08T13:59:00.000-04:002006-05-08T13:59:00.000-04:00Lucky MIL! I finished a Wool Peddler's Shawl this weekend the I made with dk weight and am thrilled with the results. I so appreciate your blog showing me that I could get great results without using cobweb or lace weight. Now I just have to decide what is next - Flower Basket, Leaf Lace, Pemberly, or the Victorian Shawl. I got all the patterns in the mail last week. Your Flower Basket is beautiful and I had been looking at the silky wool in that very color for the Leaf Lace.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14056199.post-1147019467624140352006-05-07T12:31:00.000-04:002006-05-07T12:31:00.000-04:00Thanks, ladies!!
